How to Better Promote the Hobby and Model Railroad Organizations
- Advertise on Digital First Media, which company owns four major news outlets that offers print and Intenet advertising. Publications:

- Advertise on all posssible social media sites such as Macaroni Kid, which can have a huge penetration in area towns. They published articles on websites, Facebook, twitter and other media.
- Advertise on the above listed Model Railroad Web Sites as much as possible. Ask other clubs for reciprocating links which helps each club specifically gain Internet visibility/relevance to attract new members and help promote the hobby in general.
- The Boston & Maine Historical Society will take flyers from clubs and put them into their newsletter which is mailed to lots and lots of model railroaders.
- Send out press releases to every newspaper within 30 miles of your show venue and try to get on their "things to do/weekender" websites and newspaper sections for free.
- Contact the Pheasnt Lane Mall to set up a Model Railroad display in an empty store to promote the club and the show.
