John Newingham

PEPPERELL -- John C. Newingham of Pepperell, died September 28, 2017 at CareOne of Concord. He was born in Munich, Germany June 2, 1950 and was the son of the late Clinton D. and Madeline (Wasson) Newingham.

His father was a career Military Man and the family lived in Texas, Alaska, Indianapolis and Turkey, until finally relocating to Pepperell. John attended the local schools and was a graduate of North Middlesex High School's Class of 1968. Upon graduation, he continued his studies at Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont Class of 1972 serving in the Corps of Cadets. After graduation, he commissioned in The United States Army as a 2nd Lieutenant, and served during the Vietnam War.

John had been employed at Airco industrial Gases in Acton for 25 years as a Production Manager and retired in 1997. John was an avid fishermen, as well as an active member of the Pepperell Siding Model Railroad Club.

He is survived by his brother Stephen E. Newingham of South Dennis and was the brother of the late Bonnie S. Burch. He is also survived by his nephew Benjamin W. Burch of California.

NEWINGHAM -- of Pepperell September 28, 2017 John C. Newingham. Relatives and friends will be received by the family October 20, Friday 5-7 PM at the McGAFFIGAN Funeral Home, 37 Main St., (Rte. 113) Pepperell. A graveside service will be held Saturday 10 AM at the Association Cemetery Pepperell.
